'Interstate 45' derive their name from the main highway through Texas, and it is no accident that a love of the music from the lone star state brings together Shauna Parker and Simon Sparrow for this very special duo. Shauna’s clear and heart tugging tones are the perfect foil for Simon’s fingerpicked guitar playing and vocal harmonies. Both Simon and Shauna have a wealth of experience in a range of musical genres, but what makes Interstate 45 so special is their shared love of country, bluegrass and western swing. Of course, they pick out a few classics along the way, so don’t be surprised to hear their take on a Dylan or Beatles tune alongside of their special blend of torch and twang.
